The Leap Years

Finally completed my fieldwork regarding the construction company I mentioned in my previous post and I'll be returning to office tomorrow. The journey to Woodlands Industrial Park really kills me every morning, not mentioning waking up at an extra 1/2 hour earlier. The audit wasn't as tough as I expected, but I wouldn't say for sure because I haven't send in my file for review. Hopefully it'll go smoothly and not end up like my other case which really, I don't wish to recall anything about that at all.

The accounts staff wasn't as uncooperative as my manager made them out to be also, and we only really clashed just once yesterday. I don't really find them unhelpful or rude or what, just that they have an underlying rushed and loud tone when they are talking, even to each other.

Watched Leap Years with homies after work today. It was, quite simply, wack. The plot was shallow, real shallow. Girl meets boy, falls in love and got together. The end. No climax, no twists. The guy simply showed up every 4 years and didn't break the promise at all. Where's the fun in that?

Acting-wise, Wong Li Lin as Li Ann was extremely likeable. She's hot, and she portrayed Li Ann as someone who can be strong and weak at the same time. She's not at all weepy or whiny and just got on with her stuff and occasionally showing the soft spot for love when it matters most. I think Qi Yu Wu also grasped his role of KS - the loser underdog platonic friend, and played it well. Maybe too many guys have been in his shoes (me including) so we can all probably understand how he feels, like a sense of empathy or sorts.

Story-wise, sorry man. The Thai guy was goodlooking no doubt, spoke english extremely fluently and probably is fun to hang around with. But falling in love irrevocably after spending just 2-3 hours together? Deep enough to wait for 4 damn long years? Come on, the Thai guy might be top 5 but surely there're better guys out there as well. Especially considering Li Ann's sizzling standards. The same can be said for the Thai guy. Maybe it's due to the lack of chemistry between the both of them, but I just cannot see it happening. And after waiting for 4 years, they met the 2nd time and don't bother leaving contacts and had to wait for another 4 years. If they are so in love with each other, they would've had so many things to tell each other and not just dance and have sex and split again after a misunderstanding whereby the Thai guy didn't even bother to explain. Overall, it's unbelievable and just, WACK.

I'm not a cynic. I remember watching this Before Sunrise and Before Sunset starring Ethan something and Julie Delpy and they acted out a similar story, love at first sight and split after a night. The chemistry was so damn good between them that yes, I can believe that there was a connection.

Anyway, I seriously don't know if my bulking programme is going on track or off track. I'm weighing in at 73kg now and I initially planned to bulk till 75-78kg before cutting again. I don't know if I'm doing things right cause the fats seem to be accumulating at the waist now and I'm not sure if my chest and arms got bigger. Only part where I can see improvement word up are my thighs after doing all those mad squats and deadlifts. I can lift heavier no doubt but... damn. I'm not so sure anymore. Promised them photos, had to cover the face cause I've got loads of Hazeline on to treat my pimple outbreak. Gonna post them to CIA forums and see what the big guys have got to say before reconsidering tweaking my regime and diet once again:
