Perhaps a sweaty, draining and demon-ish workout tomorrow is what I need to get my focus back on track.
I started on my weight-less cutting phase on Tuesday, ran 2.4km at 14.4km/h clocking 10 mins and did 5 set of super burpees and chin ups after that. The burpees really got my heart pounding like mad. Those who'd never attempted burpees before probably will doubt its usefulness as a full-body cum cardio workout, but all you need is to drag your ass up from your chair and try it and you'll know what it feels like to literally feel your heartbeat racing.
I realised, actually I knew it long ago, that I hate the stationary bike and the step-master cause I don't know how to use it. I don't know how to fiddle with the settings and the workout always turn out to be too easy or too hard to continue for a while. Never mind, I researched on bodyweight circuits and I'll be delving into that new world of torture tomorrow.
On top of the 2.4km, burpees and chinups, I'm gonna add push-ups, sit-ups, jumping-jacks, planks, squats, reverse lunges and mountain climbers to cough out 45mins to 1 hour of high intensity cardio. I'll experiment here and there before settling on a circuit that suits my fitness level which I'll probably use until I can lift weights again.
I'll be posting the circuit here up tomorrow, as a reminder to myself not to give up on cutting. I'm gonna get ripped to shreds (repeat until end of time). This is my starting point:

Love handles melt away.
