Dear came over to study and do e-learning a few days back. We're obviously not very into studying.
The June issue of Men's Health got this article under the section Malegrams titled "Any Girl You Want". Quite interesting, the opening paragraph also quite true:
'From that out-of-your-league stranger baking on the beach to your best friend and female confidante - You're surrounded by women you can't have. Or can you?'
Then they grouped the different types of girls men want and give their opinion on how to go about getting them. In short:
Resist the urge: a friend's ex, your boss, your ex's friend, your own ex
Proceed with caution: a friend's sibling, your nubile intern
Make your move: A close friend, your sexy coworker, your sister's friend
I was kinda taken aback when I saw that "A close friend" belongs to the make your move section. Afterall isn't it a taboo for friends to proceed to the next stage with the fear of losing an already beautiful friendship? (or maybe that's what girls want us to believe when they wanna reject us boys hahaha)
But anyway, interesting quote to note for guys who wanna go 1 step further with a close friend, the article says DON'T ever say things like "I've always loved you." cause it could cheapen the friendship and women often feel betrayed if they find out you've been sexually interested all along. DON'T ever deliver a stump speech. It'll almost always backfire.
Gtg call dear, hope my shoulder recovers in time for Redang. Can't imagine how I'm gonna swim and snorkel in this wreck that I'm in.
